HIGHAM WRITERS SHOWCASE WEIRD AND WONDERFUL
Many thanks to everyone who supported our 9th Showcase on the 15th November at Shorne village hall. This was our first performance at the village hall, supported by a larger audience than we have been able to accommodate in the past. Apparently you all enjoyed yourselves, despite the mysteries of the sound system which we will have solved before next time. Watch this space!
We have been able to send a donation of £250.00 to the EllenorHospice, a tremendous amount, and all thanks to you, our audience, and all our hard working helpers.
For Christmas stories and past work, do see our website http://www.highamwriters.co.uk
The next Showcase will be in the summer of 2015. Before then, we will be visiting Hiara, in Higham Village Hall and reading at Age concern. Denise will be delivering a short lecture at the Rotary Club, Gillingham in January. After our usual Christmas break (and well earned rest) we will be reconvening on Monday mornings from 12th January 2015. New writers welcome!
We are looking for short story, article, and memoir writers. Poets, raconteurs, and good listeners. Anyone who wants to get published. Anyone who wants to enjoy sharing their writing. In fact anyone who wants to just have a go. All you need is the willingness to learn from our tutor Denise Leppard
We meet at Higham Village on a Monday morning
Interested? Then contact Denise on 01474 822881 or by email email@example.com
